Sebastian C. Rodrigo, (Partner) born Buenos Aires, Argentina, April 2, 1967; admitted to bar, 1994.
Mr. Rodrigo brings his experience in Regulatory, Reorganization, Health and Commercial Law, primarily representing Brazilian, Chinese and USA companies doing business in Argentina and in Energy and Natural Resources. He has participated as local counsel in the largest M&A transaction of Argentina, the acquisition of 25 oil and gas concessions representing Sinopec from China for $2.5 billion dollars. In the energy field he has been advisor to the Senior Lenders in the TGM Project, the first cross border pipeline to export gas to Brazil. He has been involved in the reorganization process of Central Térmica Guemes representing bondholders of a Global Bond. He was involved in the reorganization process of Compañía General de Combustibles representing Hess Trading Corporation, the trader company of Amerada Hess Corporation. He advises Stryker and Merck among other companies.
