Hernan Verly, (Partner) born Buenos Aires,Argentina,February 2, 1968; admitted to bar, 1992.
Mr. Verly brings to the Firm his experience in Commercial and Corporate Law. He has led several important merger and acquisition procedures. He has been in-house counsel of AcindarS.A., the largest non-flat steel producer inArgentina. He has accumulated experience as advisor of Sun Microsystems, Bell Helicopters, Salentein, Musimundo, Blaisten, Club Atlético Boca Juniors, etc.
He is also a Professor of Commercial Law and Corporate Law at the University ofBuenos Airesand Professor of Negotiable Instruments in the Master in Business Law program of the San Andrés University. He is also regularly invited to teach in several private institutions
He holds a Master in Business Law of theAustralUniversityinArgentina, where he is regularly invited to make part of examination and thesis defense committees.
He has collaborated in the best known legal publications ofArgentinaas La Ley, El Derecho, JurisprudenciaArgentina, Revista de Derecho Bancario, among others. He has also collaborated in other well known legal publications around the world as World Securities Law Report, New York State Bar Association International Chapter Newsletter, Latin Counsel, among others.
Mr. Verly has been elected among the 40 best lawyers under 40 years inArgentinaby LatinLawyer (“40-Under-40” survey).
Mr. Verly has been awarded with the Prize as Best Director of Thesis by Austral Universtiy (2010).
